Fall 2018 Exhibition

The Ottawa Gatineau Printmakers’ Connective is pleased to present an exhibition at The Nepean Creative Arts Centre (39 Stafford Road, Bells Corners) from September 6th to November 19th, entitled “Murray Dineen and Friends, and the Earth.

The show is devoted to the topic of climate change and the environment in the AnthropoceneFor some fifty years, printmakers have been finding new environmentally friendly printmaking. While traditionalsubstances are still in use, less toxic alternatives have become readily available and affordable. The prints in this show use these new alternatives and/or address some aspect of climate change or our changing environmentAlthough the show is not linked formally to the National Gallery’s upcoming exhibition, Anthropocenesimilar concerns have motivated the artists of the Connective.
